Ch. Tosser's Makin Waves CD AG.X SMADC CGC
CGN TT Splash (Ch. Tosser's Makin Waves CD, AG.X, SMADC, CGC, 2/3 PDI, 1/3 SMSDC, 1/3 VMTDC) has given me a good start in the Toller world. At only 8.5 months old, she won her first 5 points in style, taking Best Opposite, Best of Winners and Best Puppy in Breed in a huge entry of 51 Tollers, including several BIS, group placing and specialty winning Tollers! She finished her Championship on Fri Sept.13, 2002, we are not superstitious here! Splash easily passed her Canine Good Citizen test at 18 months old (with minimal training) and in Aug.2002 achieved 2 legs towards her Companion Dog title, both legs earned with a High In Class, she also earned High Scoring Toller in Trial at the 2002 BC Toller Booster. She finished her CD on Sept.15 2002 with another High In Class win and a score of 189.5. She won High in Class Novice C at the 2003 Canadian National Specialty and had a great time! Splash is a happy, willing, enthusiastic worker in the obedience ring, but also has been known to use her sense of humour and creativity in the ring! Agility is one of her passions, she loves to run, and loves to jump! She has only been trialing on a very limited basis, and already has her AG.N, AG.I & AG.X titles with CKC, along with her ADC, SAADC & SMADC titles with AAC. She also has a leg in Masters Snooker, a leg in Masters Team, and then lets not forget those 2 legs towards a PDI with USDAA. She is now mostly retired from serious agility competition, but we will do the occasional trial, mainly to try to finish off her VATChC title with AAC. We have also done some training in tracking and field work. She is very birdy and is a fantastic swimmer but isn't as retrieve-obsessed as many Tollers. Splash is a very happy, friendly, outgoing girl and has visited hospitals, schools, and retirements homes. She loves everybody, but especially children; they are her favorite "toy"! Splash is a great house dog, being a little more quiet and laid back around the house than the average Toller, she is also very sweet and affectionate. Although she is a very high-drive dog when working, she also has a good "off switch"! She has a shorter, moderate coat in a bright copper-orange color, with a pink nose, brown eyes, white chest, white feet and a good-sized white tail tip. She has beautiful angulation with plenty of reach and drive, moderate bone, a strong neck and a solid topline. She is 16 5/8" tall and 30 lbs. Her eyes are CERF examined (normal), PRA Optigen A (Normal), CEA Optigen Normal, hips are OFA Good, Thyroid is still testing Normal at 8 years old. An updated CERF will be done this soon. She has been a very consistent producer, with her offspring so far having 6 CKC Ch, 1 AKC Ch, 1 Int Ch, 2 Ch pt'd, 2 CDX, 3 CD, 1 RN, 1 RA, 1 RE, 2 TG-N, 2 TN-N, 2 NJC, 1 NCC, 1 AG.I, 1 ADC, 1 AX, 1 AXJ, 2 NAC, 1 CGN, 3 CGC and 1 dog with a leg towards his UD. Because Splash believe she is more than "just a dog", and is therefore entitled to special treatment ;) we gave in to her wishes and allowed her to give live locally with a woman who spoils her more than you can imagine...Splash is very happy being the centre of attention, although she now has her great-grandson Topaz in the house to torment her!
If you are seeking a "bargain puppy" or
are "price shopping" please look else where. If you are seeking a
quality, well-bred Toller with the correct Toller temperament &
instincts, with breeders who will act as a support system throughout the
dogs lifetime, please contact us. We sell all of our
puppies on contracts that protect the breeder and buyer and most
importantly, the puppy. Most breeders we refer to use the same, or
similar contracts.
At
Tollwest Kennels, we feed and recommend a
raw food diet. All our
puppies are weaned to a raw diet diet for optimum health,
nutrition and development. We are also advocates of
limited vaccine protocols.
