Smudge (Ch. Tollwest Bush Quacker) is pick male from Splash's
second litter. I co-own him with a Kelowna family, Smudge is their beloved
family pet and hunting dog. He is a very friendly, confident outgoing
boy that loves to play!
He is a great swimmer & retriever. He is on the small side at
18.25", but with beautiful structure, balance and movement. He has
black pigment, dark brown eyes and a fairly long coat in a lighter
orange color, just like his dad. He has a big white tail tip, white
feet, white chest, and a partial blaze on his face.
At his first sanction match in May 2002 he took Best of Breed and
Best Puppy In Group, then at his first official show took 2 Best Puppy
In Breed. At the end of August at the BC Toller Booster show, Smudge
earned his first 3 points by winning Best Opposite Sex, Best of
Winners and Best Puppy. He beat a top winning BIS/BISS special for the
BOS award! In Sept he won a Best of Breed over a special for another 3
points. He picked up another Best of Breed in May for 2 more points.
In July, he was 2nd in his class (Bred-By Male) at the Canadian
National Specialty in Calgary. In Sept, he finished his Championship
with a 3 point Best of Winners, at 22 months old!
Smudge was born and raised on BARF, with both his parents also
being BARF fed! He is Optigen pattern B by birth (A-C parents), OFA
Good and has been CERF examined (normal).
