• Dec 23 - Spirit has finally come in season! In early January her friend Barnaby (BPIG Am/Can Ch Pikkinokka's Stormtide Barnaby CGC) will be coming for a romantic visit, with puppies expected in 2nd week of March!

• Dec 8 - Mallory won a 2 point Winners Bitch/Best Opposite in Vancouver WA, which finished her American Championship! Her full name is now Am/Can Ch Tollwest's Cause I'm Worth It PCD. Mallory is owned by Kerri Van Eaton, and handled to her US title by Simone Sortwell. Thanks Simone for doing such a great job with Mallory!

• Dec 7 - Jazz (BPIS Tollwest's Illicit Affair) won another point towards her Championship in Ontario! Jazz is from our Tango x Cola litter, and is owned by Mary D. Price.

• Dec 6 - Savannah finished her Rally Novice title, her full name is now Am Ch Tollwest's Summer Magic RN. Savannah is from our 2nd Cajun x Soda litter, and is owned by Liz Mersereau.

• Dec 2 - Sunlight (Tollwest's Dancing Sunlight) won Winners Bitch and Best Puppy In Breed in Calgary AB, earning her first 3 points at 8 months old!

• Dec 1 - Aodhan (Tollwest Sparks Are Flying) was Reserve Winners Dog in Calgary AB. Aodhan is co-owned by Jenn Stevenson, Justin Mackenzie and myself.

• Nov 18 - Mallory (Can Ch Tollwest's Cause I'm Worth it PCD) won a 3 point major Winners Bitch in WA. Now she just needs 1 more point to finish her US title! Mallory is owned by Kerri Van Eaton, and handled by Simone Sortwell.

• Nov 17 - Maverick (Can Ch Tollwest Nopper Causin A Riot) won a 4 point major in WA. Maverick is owned by Deb & Keith Garland, and handled by Simone Sortwell.

• Nov 11 - Our Tango left today for his new home in Holland, at Under The Red Sky. We will miss him greatly, but also know he will be very happy in his new home! I know Tango is looking forward to trying some European dog shows, as well as visiting with some European Toller girls!

• Nov 10 - Cooper won Best Of Winners in California, to finish his Am Championship at only 14 months old! Cooper is owned by Linda Fitzmaurice and Melissa Williams.

• Nov 10 - Feather (Can Ch Tollwest Fly So High) won Winners Bitch in California, for her first point towards her American title. Feather is currently leased by Linda Fitzmaurice.

• Nov 10 - Billy (Can Ch Tollwest's Off My Rocker) won Winners Dog in Oregon for another point towards his American title. Billy is co-owned and handled by Liz Mersereau.

• Nov 4 - Finn finished his Canadian Obedience Trial Championship in Red Deer AB!!! His full name is now OTCH Tollwest Sand Storm. Finn is owned by Mark Antonini & Shelly Campbell.

• Nov 4 - Can Ch & OTCH Tollwest's Ride The Wave won High In Class in Utility twice this weekend in Red Deer AB! Rogan is owned by Mark Antonini & Shelly Campbell.

• Nov 4 - Topaz won a 3 point Best of Winners in Red Deer AB, to finish his Championship! His name is now Ch Tollwest's Wild Blue Yonder CGN. Topaz is owned by Trisha Shanks.

• Nov 4 - Sunlight (Tollwest's Dancing Sunlight) went to her first dog show, in Red Deer AB, and won Reserve Winners and Best Puppy In Breed today!

• Oct 28 -  Avro finished his American Championship in style, winning another Best of Breed over specials for a 5 point major in Vancouver WA! His full name is now Am/Can Ch Tollwest's Magic Arrow. Avro is co-owned and handled by Chris Chromy.

• Oct 28 - Mallory (Can Ch Tollwest's Cause I'm Worth it PCD) won Winners Bitch/Best Opposite Sex again, for her second 5 point major in Vancouver WA! She is now on 11 points! Mallory is owned by Kerri Van Eaton, and handled this weekend by Simone Sortwell.

• Oct 27 - Mallory (Can Ch Tollwest's Cause I'm Worth it PCD) won Winners Bitch/Best Opposite Sex for a 5 point major in Vancouver WA!

• Oct 20 - Rogan won back to back High In Class wins in Utility, which finished his Canadian Obedience Trial Championship!!!!!! His full name is now Can Ch/OTCH Tollwest's Ride The Wave. We send out big congrats to his owners Shelly Campbell and Mark Antonini, and thank them for doing such a great job with Rogan. To think when they bought him they just wanted a pet!

• Oct 20 - Finn (Tollwest Sand Storm CDX) qualified in back to back trials to earn his first 2 Utility legs! Finn is owned by Shelly Campbell and Mark Antonini.

• Sep 30 - Avro (Can Ch Tollwest's Magic Arrow) entered an agility fun match where he won Best Overall in the Specials division, with 1st place in Snooker, Jumpers, Standard and Touch N Go, and qualifying runs in the first 3! Time for him to sign up for some official trials now!

• Sep  15 - Cooper (Tollwest Javahill Fly Higher) won a 3 point major Best Of Winners in California. This is his third major, he is now on 11 points at barely 13 months old! Cooper also passed his OFA Patellas & OFA Heart exams! Cooper is co-owned by Linda Fitzmaurice & Melissa Williams.

• Sep 13 - Bounce has been bred to "Topper" - Am/Can Ch Tollchester's Top Secret. Topper is a Maverick son, and we are expecting great things from this litter. Pups are due mid November!

• Sep 8 - Mallory finished her PCD title! Her full name is now Can Ch Tollwest's Cause I'm Worth It PCD. Mallory is owned by Kerri Van Eaton.

• Sep 1 - Billy (Can Ch Tollwest's Off My Rocker) won a 1 point Winners Dog in St Helens, OR! Billy is shown by his co-owner Liz Mersereau.

• Aug 26 - Avro (Can Ch Tollwest's Magic Arrow) won 1 point towards his AKC Ch in Redmond WA, he is now at 5 points, and has taken points every day he has shown in the US so far!

• Aug 19 - Avro (Can Ch Tollwest's Magic Arrow) won another 2 point Winners Dog in Enumclaw WA!

• Aug 18 - Avro (Can Ch Tollwest's Magic Arrow) won a 2 point Winners Dog in Enumclaw WA! Avro is handled by his co-owner Chris Chromy.

• Aug 17 - Cooper (Tollwest Javahill Fly Higher) won Best of Winners over the class female, unfortunately the entry was short by one for a point though.

• Aug 5 - Topaz (Tollwest's Wild Blue Yonder CGN) won Winners Dog for another point towards his Ch. He is now at 8 points, only 2 more to go!

• Aug 4 - We had 4 Tollers pass the very difficult Temperament Test held by Temperament test Associates. These dogs are:

Our other 3 dogs entered in the TT test (Curry, Bounce & Topaz) all passed everything except the final test "Dog is threatened", where the evaluator wanted to see them acting more agressively towards the threatening stranger. Personally I disagree and felt they acted very appropriately for the breed. None panicked, they just stood slightly beside or behind me, watched me for any instructions, and waited for the threat to leave. (To pass they would have had to stayed between me and the threatening stranger) I would be more worried about the temperament of a Toller lunging at the end of the leash trying to attack the threatening stranger, that is not the type of response I want in my dogs! So even though 3 of the gang did not receive TT certificates, I feel very positive about their temperaments and responses!

• Aug 4 - Topaz (Tollwest's Wild Blue Yonder CGN) won Best of Winners for 2 points in Calgary AB!

• Aug 4 - Cayenne finished her AGMX (Agility Master Excellent) and AGIJ (Agility Intermediate Jumpers) titles in the CKC agility trial today in Calgary AB!

• Aug 3 - Chase (Tollwest's Best Kept Secret) won Best of Winners for his first 2 points, and the Westwind Sporting Dog Club's Specialty show & Alberta Toller Booster in Calgary AB! Chase is co-owned and handled by Kevin Maclean.

• Aug 3 - Cayenne finished her Elite Chances Certificate title at the Cruizin' Canines NADAC trial in Calgary AB!

• July 21 - Cooper (Tollwest Javahill Fly Higher) won Reserve Winners Dog & Best Puppy In Breed at the Canadian National Specialty in White Rock, BC!!!!

• July 21 - Tango won 4th place in the Stud Dog class at the Canadian National Specialty!

• July 21 - Billy (partnered with his sire Barnaby) won 2nd place in the Brace class at the Canadian National Specialty, and also won Best Puppy In Breed at the BC All Retriever Club Specialty!

• July 21 - Feather won 3rd place in 9-12 Puppy Female Sweepstakes, and 4th place in the 9-12 Puppy Female official class at the Canadian National Specialty, and also won Reserve Winners Female at the BC All Retriever Club Specialty!

• July 21 - Cayenne won 3rd place in Veteran Sweepstakes at the Canadian National Specialty!

• July 15 - Rogan (Tollwest Ride The Wave CDX) finished his Championship today with a 3 point Best of Winners in Indus AB! Rogan is a brother to our Tango, and is owned by Shelly Campbell and Mark Antonini, and handled by Kerri Van Eaton.

• July 13 - Feather won a 2 point Best of Winners, Best Opposite Sex & Best Puppy In Breed in Indus AB!

• June 24 - Cayenne & Bounce attended a NADAC trial, where Cayenne got a Q & First place in Elite Regular, and a Q & First Place in Novice Hoopers! Bounce also got a Q & First Place in Novice Hoopers!

• June 23 - Billy (Can Ch Tollwest's Off My Rocker) attend his first American show, and won Best of Breed (over a special) from the Senior Puppy class, for his first 2 points towards his Am Ch. Billy is co-owned by me and Liz Mersereau, and handled by Liz.

• June 17 - Maverick (Ch Tollwest Nopper Causin A Riot) won Best of Breed and a Group 4th in Kingston, Ont! Way to go Mav!!!

• June 16 - Maverick (Ch Tollwest Nopper Causin A Riot) won another Best of Breed in Kingston, Ont!

• June 15 - Maverick (Ch Tollwest Nopper Causin A Riot) won Best of Breed in Kingston, Ont. Maverick is owned by Deb & Keith Garland, and is from Tango & Bounce's first litter (a full brother to Kaos).

• June 10 - Spirit gave birth to 6 beautiful puppies this evening, sired by our Tango! We have a nice even split of 3 boys and 3 girls.

• June 10 - Cooper (Tollwest Javahill Fly Higher) won another point this weekend, bring his total up to 8 points!

• June 9 - Avro (Ch Tollwest's Magic Arrow) attended a health clinic, where we were happy to hear he is both his CERF Normal and OFA Heart Normal! Blood has also been sent off for his OFA Thyroid panel.

• May 20 - Jazz (BPIS Tollwest's Illicit Affair) picked up a 2 pt win in Ontario! Jazz is a Tango/Cola daughter, owned by Mary D. Price of Tolleast Kennels in St Johns, Newfoundland.

• May 13 - Cooper won another 3 point Best of Winners/Best Puppy In Breed in California, bringing him up to a total of 7 points at just under 9 months old!

• May 13 - Rogan won another 3 point Best of Breed today in Medicine Hat, bringing him up to 9 points in 3 days of showing! Thanks to Kerri Van Eaton for handling Rogan this weekend.

• May 13 - Kobe (Tollwest's Flying Jumpshot) went to his first fun match, and not only won Best of Breed from a good-sized Toller entry, he went all the way and won Best In Match! Way to go Kobe!!!! Thank you to Til Niquidet for showing Kobe, we appreciate it! Kobe will now be heading on to his new home in Kelowna BC, where he will be co-owned by myself and Chris England.

• May 12 - Cooper (Tollwest Javahill Fly Higher), a Maverick/Bounce son, won Best of Winners/Best Puppy In Breed in California, for his first 3 point major! Cooper is 8 months old, and owned by Linda Fitzmaurice and Melissa Williams.

• May 5 - We took a pack of Tollers to an OFA Heart Clinic today, and cardiologist Gary Wood passed them all with flying colors! Our attending Tollers were:
