Bounce  is a beautiful girl with lots of personality. Very outgoing & friendly, and she absolutely adores children. Bounce is very good at playing "couch potato", and will lay upside down in your lap for hours! She loves to retrieve and swim, but she has a good "off switch" and is very easy to live with. Such a good girl :)  Even at 5 years old, she still looks much like a puppy in so many ways, and words out of most people's mouths when they meet her is "she's sooooooooo cute!".

She has pink pigment, a white tail tip, white feet, white chest, a tiny star on her forehead and a snip of white on her nose. She has excellent bone & substance for her size, and is 17.75" and 35 lbs. Her wonderful structure combined with her outstanding pedigree has been a valuable addition to my kennel.

Her show debut was at only 6 months & 3 days old, and she started off with a bang, winning Best of Breed (2 pts) & Best Puppy in Group! She then won Best of Breed the next 2 days for another 3 points altogether, putting her halfway to her Ch by the time she was 6 months & 5 days old! Bounce placed 3rd in a very strong class of 9 Junior females at the Canadian National. She picked up another 2 points while on "summer vacation" at her breeder's house. Then she came home and won Reserve Winners Bitch at the 2003 BC Toller Booster. Two weeks after that she added another point to her total, and then finished her Championship with a Best of Breed in Jan/04 at 12 months old!

She is a somewhat soft & sensitive but very happy girl who loves to please and really enjoys her clicker training. We started her in light training for a CD, rally & agility, then took a break for maternity leave. After the litter was weaned she headed back to agility class and started "serious" training for competitive obedience. She attended her first obedience trial on Nov 25/06, where she managed to pick up 2 legs towards her PCD (Pre-Novice Companion Dog) and 1 leg towards her CD (Companion Dog), all in 1 day! She also had a 2nd in class ribbon for her CD leg! Her next trial was in early March/07, where earned the other 2 legs needed for her CD title, along with two 4th place ribbons! She made her debut into agility competition in June 2007, where she attended her first NADAC trial, competing in Jumpers & Tunnelers. We also trained in Rally, she made her trial debut in August/07, where she scored an awesome 99/100 in Novice B, which earned her the trophy for Top Rally Toller at the 2007 Alberta Toller Booster! The same day she also passed her CGN (Canine Good Neighbor) test. She earned another rally leg in Feb/08, and finished her RN title in Oct/08 with a nice score of 95/100.

Bounce was born and raised on BARF! She is Optigen PRA Clear, CEA/CH Clear, eyes CERF examined Normal. Hips are OVC normal. Heart is OFA Normal, OFA Thyroid will be done soon.

Bounce's final litter is due in April/09, bred to Am/Can/Su(u) Ch Pikkinokka's Ziggy Stardust CGC. We are currently taking names for the waiting list for this litter.

Maverick & Bounce

If you are seeking a "bargain puppy" or are "price shopping" please look elsewhere. If you are seeking a quality, well-bred Toller or Chesapeake with the correct temperament & instincts, with breeders who will act as a support system throughout the dogs lifetime, please contact us. We sell all of our puppies on contracts that protect the breeder and buyer and most importantly, the puppy. Most breeders we refer to use the same, or similar contracts.

We care about our dogs and their future. We health test all our breeding stock and know the history behind them, not just the sire and dam. There are lots of breeders out there that sell their puppies for less than we do. But remember the old saying. "You get what you pay for."

At Tollwest Kennels, we feed and recommend a raw food diet. All our puppies are weaned to a raw diet diet for optimum health, nutrition and development. We are also advocates of limited vaccine protocols. Please ask for more information.
