Billy is pick male from our Barnaby x Curry litter. He has a lovely masculine head, a very thick and fluffy golden-red coat with beautiful white markings, solid bone with deep angles and excellent balanced movement with lots of reach and drive, and clean coming and going. He is very friendly, outgoing and confident, with a very showy attitude and a lovely free-stack. He is 18" tall.

Billy's first conformation show was in early March, and he had a great weekend! He picked up a Winners Dog & Best Opposite Sex over a special for his first 3 points on the Saturday, then on Sunday he won a 4 point Best Of Winners, Best Opposite Sex and Best Puppy - but he didn't stop there, he went on to win Best Puppy in Group!

His next trip in the ring 3 weeks later, he won a 3 point Best of Winners, which finished his Canadian Championship title at only 7 months old, and with only 4 days of showing! Wow, what a guy!

Billy spent 2 years in Vancouver WA, living with Liz Mersereau, who showed him in AKC shows.

Billy made his AKC debut on June 23/07, where at only 10 months old he won Best of Breed over a Special, a very nice way to win his first 2 American points! He has done quite well and Billy is singled out now with well over the minimum needed, and just needs his majors to finish his AKC Ch.

In July/07, Billy made a trip to the Sporting Dog Spectacular (host of the 2007 Canadian National Specialty). Although he was going through a definite "gangly teenager" stage, he still won 3rd place in 9-12 Puppy Male Sweepstakes, and (partnered with his sire Barnaby) won 2nd place in the Brace class at the Canadian National Specialty, and also won Best Puppy In Breed at the BC All Retriever Club Specialty!

Billy is an Optigen PRA Carrier. He is Optigen CEA/CH clear by parentage. His patellas are OFA Normal, his heart is OFA Normal, his hips are OFA Good, and elbows OFA Normal. Billy is a proven stud, and available at stud to approved bitches only.

Billy is available for sale to a serious show/breeding home.
